Look out for off-color jokes about Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinski, OJ Simpson, Tonya Harding, and other major scandals that doninated the media of the time. The '90s brought the dawn of "Must See TV" and smart comedy. Sitcoms moved away from the cheesey formulas of previous decades and became more focused on the relationships between the characters. At the same time, topics that were previously taboo became sensationalized: the more weird and controversial, the better!
