- The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis: Season 4, episode 31, "Requiem for an Underweight Heavyweight" (1963). When Maynard accidentally swallows some experimental energy pills that give him superhuman strength, Mr. Gillis decides to make some money by making Maynard a boxer.
- Car 54, Where Are You?: Season 2, episode 29, "Puncher & Judy" (1963). Toody and Muldoon try to convince a hairdresser to give up his dream of being a prizefighter because his girlfriend is afraid he'll get hurt. Real-life boxers, Rocky Graziano and Sugar Ray Robinson, guest star.
- The Dick Van Dyke Show: Season 5, episode 11, "Body and Sol" (1965). As a boxer in the army, Rob faces off against champion fighter Boom Boom Bailey.
- The Odd Couple: Season 1, episode 2, "The Fight of the Felix" (1970). When a hockey player slugs Oscar, Felix confronts him and challenges him to a boxing match.
- Sanford and Son: Season 4, episode 19, "Golden Boy" (1975). Fred hopes to make some big money sponsoring a boxer named Junior Joe Louis, but his demands for more money get Junior's big fight canceled, so Fred stages one in the junkyard instead.
- Welcome Back, Kotter: Season 2, episode 10, "Horschack vs. Carvelli" (1976). The Sweathogs are trying to decide who's going to face Carvelli in the "Silver Gloves" high school boxing match, and Horshack wants to throw his hat in the ring, but the others won't hear of it. Incensed by their dismissal of his manhood, Horshack challenges Carvelli in the schoolyard, and Carvelli decides he wants to fight him.
- Fernwood 2 Night: Episode 55, "Theological Correspondence Course" (1977). Frankie "Kid" Carbone, former professional boxer and current accordion player in the Mirth-Makers, shows off his skills with a performance that's part music, part fighting tips, including sparring with Happy while playing accordion.
- Taxi: Season 1, episode 2, "One-Punch Banta" (1978). Tony gets his first big boxing match, and the whole gang shows up to support him.
- Are You Being Served?: Season 7, episode 5, "The Hero" (1979). Through a set of bizarre circumstances, Mr. Humphries ends up in a boxing ring with Mr. Franco from the sports department, but when Humphries proves to be no match for Franco, Mrs. Slocombe steps in.
- Taxi: Season 2, episode 15, "The Reluctant Fighter" (1979). Tony gets the chance to fight a former champion boxer. He's convinced he can win, but when the champ announces at a press conference that he's dedicating the fight to a sick little boy who uses a wheelchair, Tony wants to back out of the fight to avoid looking like a jerk.
- Taxi: Season 4, episode 9, "Of Mice and Tony" (1981). Now that he lost his boxing license, Tony decides to manage another boxer, but a so-called "syndicate" is also courting him.
- Taxi: Season 4, episode 19, "Tony's Comeback" (1982). A new driver at the garage, Lucius, who is a former professional football player, helps Tony get in shape and get his boxing license back. During his return match, tony is ready to throw in the towel, but Lucius encourages him to keep going, and he wins the fight.
- The Golden Girls: Season 4, episode 18, "Fiddler on the Ropes" (1989). The gang wants to invest some money, and Sophi takes it upon herself to use it to sponsor a prizefighter named Pepe. When the gang finds out he plays the violin beautifully, they try to get him to throw his big fight so he doesn't ruin his music career.
- Wings: Season 8, episode 22, "Raging Bull*&@!" (1997). Joe and Brian end up facing each other in an amateur boxing match, and it causes tension in the family.
- Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place: Season 2, episode 19, "Two Guys, a Girl and a Fighter" (1999). Med student Berg is helping out a boxer named Buster by serving as his "cut man." During a big fight, Berg realizes Buster is showing signs of brain damage, and he has to report him to the boxing commission to stop him from fighting and possibly causing permanent damage.
