- Cheers: Season 6, episode 8, "Bidding on the Boys" (1987). Rebecca hosts a bachelor auction at Cheers to raise money for charity, and Sam insists on auctioning himself off, convinced he'll bring in the most money. To everyone's surprise, Lilith, angry at Frasier for asking her to sign a pre-nup, wins a date with Sam for her bid of $2,000.
- Night Court: Season 8, episode 4, "Can't Buy Me Love" (1990). Dan and Bull participate in a charity bachelor auction. Dan appoints Roz as his shill, but she gets distracted after she wins the local weather man, and an elderly woman wins Dan instead.

When nobody bids on Bulldog, Martin asks Daphne to shill, but she ends up making the only bid and wins. Meanwhile, a beautiful model wins a date with Frasier, but instead she asks him to babysit her daughter.
